Impact on You as a User

Account Navigation

The functionality to switch between your accounts and the ones shared with you by others to collaborate upon has been moved to the header. This provides a cleaner way of selecting the workspaces you want to analyze.

New Dashboard Overview

We have upgraded our visuals to provide an easier way to read insights. Using the “Expand Button” you can get more information and detail on what drives your development performance. The expand feature is available only for our professional subscribers. Contact our sales team gitential@gitential.com to explore extra insights with a professional account, and shape the product with us.

Fixed: Adding New Author in Deduplicator

Some of our users had difficulties when trying to add a new author to the developer list. Now the users can easily create a new name and move an already existing email address to the newly created author.

Fixed: Removing Limit on Maximum Number of Developers

There was a limit that allowed you to only see a maximum 100 developers for an account no matter how many collaborators you had in your imported repositories. Now you can see everyone without any limitations.

Until our next update on feature releases enjoy exploring new information on your team using Gitential. Stay tuned!

But, they probably won’t help you if you are already exceeding your repository cap on Bitbucket, Github, Gitlab, or Azure DevOps. For this scenario, we can help you identify what to target when it becomes necessary to deal with a large repository.
