Pull Requests And Code Reviews

There are two words that will help open a lot of doors in life. Push and Pull. Here, we’re going to talk about Pull Requests. Pull requests have since become a standard part of the software development process and are closely associated with code reviews. The Gitential Guide on How to Reduce the Size of Your Git Repository

Unfortunately, there are no easy ways on how to reduce the size of your git repositories. But, they probably won’t help you if you are already exceeding your repository cap on Bitbucket, Github, Gitlab, or Azure DevOps. For this scenario, we can help you identify what to target when it becomes necessary to deal with a large repository.

Impact on you as a user

New design

Our new design has focused on improving Gitential’s UI and UX to make it easier and aesthetically pleasing to use. On https://gitential.com/ you can find product-related information, use cases, pricing, and legal documentation, while the direct link to the application moved to the https://app.gitential.com/ space.

Main Menu Navigation

Our new navigation pane helps you quickly toggle between your accounts whether you set them up or they are shared with you by someone else.

Project Creation

We’ve added a highlighted reminder for so you don’t forget to add a name to your project. We made it more visible as to where you need to click to create a new project. The ‘Create Project’ button will remain disabled until you add at least one repository and a name for your project. A pop-up window will remind you to complete these two steps.

Until our next feature release, we hope you will enjoy exploring the new information on your team with Gitential. Stay tuned for more!
