Happy New Year and welcome back to Gitential release notes!
Here’s what we squeeze into our latest version when changing calendars on our walls in the background.
Previously the KPI’s on the Developer’s table were not sorting as expected. This has been corrected in this latest version.
Loading of the commits data revealed an anomaly with a few isolated data points. The load process was corrected and included in this version. Front end changes were also made to present the data according to the load changes made.
Users had reported instances where the KPI commits card did not reconcile with the commits table. This correction has been included in this release.
In a previous release, the Pull Request table could not be sorted. The root cause has been identified and the sorting functionality has been re-enabled for this table.
We’ve made the values a bit more detailed and aligned in format and value between different views.
Additional information has been added for quick reference. We have also worked with our designer and made the look and feel easier to find the information that matters most.
For our on-prem customer we’ve developed a functionality that allows to set up specific time limit for historical data analysis of their repositories collection. It means that in the future, our users will be able to set up a date range for the whole data extraction and analysis process, which will allow to speed it up and present only relevant data to the users.
Gitential is updating our front-end to leverage React.
While providing many development benefits and performance improvements to the front-end, users will see more interactive chart features.
Additional will include:

The first release of the new React front-end is expected for early Q2‘23.
